Backroads Tour Day 6 - York

We began the day with a walk around the city walls (in the rain). Our walking tour went via "The Shambles". We then had the rest of the day to do our own thing. We wandered around the museum and had a pleasant lunch in a restaurant beside the river. We then walked to the Merchant Adventurers' Hall which was a medieval guild hall. After that we visited York Minster.
