Day 2 Off to Münster

The next day we headed off to Münster for a couple of nights on the way visiting Vischering Castle and Schloss Nordkirchen.

We spent some time visiting inside and around Vischering and had a picnic lunch in the grounds.

Unfortunately Schloss Nordkirchen was locked down due to the visit of the local state Premier but we took a walk around it the perimeter which was quite Pleasant.

In the evening we went into the city of Münster for dinner at a nice pub , then proceeded on the Medieval Nightwatchman walk around the town. The commentary was in German. Halfway through I remembered to stop trying to translate as you go and just let the German go into my brain. It's amazing how much more you understand when you do that.
