EDINBURGH Day 1

We spent the next few days in Edinburgh. The first day we spent wandering around the old town and checking out how to get up to the tattoo the following evening. Our visit coincided with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival so needless to say the "Royal Mile" was a "seething mass of humanity" . We had a great Lunch at a pub called "The World's End". Otside before we went in there was a blues trio called the "Booze and Blues Project" playing in the street they weren't half bad.

That evening we went to "The Scotch Whiskey Experience" tour up near the castle. My son Christopher gave it to me for my birthday. It was excellent. It probably would have been good without the whiskey tasting.
