Once again we had breakfast in the apartment then headed off on foot to the Museum of Decorative Arts which is located the the Louvre's Western Wing.
This was a far more enjoyable experience than the Pompidou Centre and we spent some time walking around it.
We then visited the Galleries Lafeytte for lunch and once again had a quiet evening of dinner at a local bistro/pub and back to the apartment for a quiet night.
The next day was another quiet day of wandering around checking the sights and we wandered up the Boulevard St Germain and went in search of the jazz club we wanted to go to for dinner on the following Saturday night. We had lunch in one of the bistros made famous by Hemingway and company on the main road. Needless to say because of its reputation and its association with famous folk back in the day it was a little pricier than the average bistro.
On our way back to the apartment we popped into the Eglise de Saint-Germain-de-Pres and took a couple of pictures. I believe it is one of the oldest churches in Paris and may be older than Notre Dame.
