The strategy for our last days in Paris was not to overdo it and tire ourselves out trying to see everything.
We made breakfast in our apartment after a visit to the local bakery and set off to discover more of this magnificent city.
We wandered up towards Notre Dame which was under restoration from its recent fire. We visitied the nearby Shakespere and Co bookshop (no photography allowed) where we purchased a couple of books. Uta got Hemingway's "Moveable Feast", his memoirs of some of his time in Paris, and I grabbed a book of Eugene Atget images.
In the afternoon we made our way to the Pompidou Centre to check out the contemporay artworks there. I was singularly unimpressed.
