In Paris Without Luggage Day 2

On the Thursday we didn't do much except walk around the shops which included the Galleries Lafayette. We went up to the rooftop Cafe/Restaurant for lunch which was quite pleasant but it was also very warm.

The cafe staff actually loaned us a couple of hats because of the heat and our table was in the sun.

We were seated on the outside of the restaurant which meant we had an uninterrupted view of the city skyline from where we sat.

That evening we went out to dinner at the Le Bar à Huîtres on Boulevard St Germain near the Latin Quarter.

It is a very nice seafood restaurant and as the name suggests the specialty is oysters. The platter was excellent as was the nice French white we had with it.
